You teach. We do the rest.
Two 45-minute live classes a week, twelve students, in twelve-week terms. Twelve, because the instructor starts the term already knowing what each child is stuck on. The time goes on those twelve specific things rather than on finding them. Ontario mathematics, Grades 5 to 12. The diagnostic covers Grades 5 to 9.
What the job actually is
You teach. You do not write curriculum, you do not build lessons, and you do not manage a room of thirty. The course, the sequence and the materials are provided.
Before the term begins you receive a per-child record for everyone in your class: the specific misconception each student holds, the evidence it was found from, and a suggested first move for it. You differentiate inside those two sessions on that basis.
After the class you submit a short structured log — selections from the concept's own language, plus one line in your own words. It is designed to take about a minute, because a log that takes longer does not get filled in.
That one free-text line matters more than it looks. It is how a misconception nobody had written down before enters the library.

Requirements, with no flexibility in them
You must be 18 or over.
You must already hold a vulnerable sector check. We verify it before you have any contact with a child. We ask for one you already have because a fresh application takes four to eight weeks, not because the requirement is negotiable.
Group instruction is the default. One to one is listed and not open for enrolment.
Where this goes
Most tutoring work is a job with a ceiling. This one has a route out of the hourly rate, and it is the reason to take the first class seriously.
One class a week
Two 45-minute sessions, twelve students, one course. You teach; the curriculum, the diagnostic and the reporting are supplied. Fits around a placement, a supply schedule or another job.
Up to six classes a week
Same preparation, more delivery. Instructors who hold a group well take on further courses and grades as they open, and the hourly rate rises with what you are trusted to teach.
Run your own territory
Proven instructors are offered a territory of their own: your own families, your own classes, your own invoices. You bring the students, you run them on ChronosLearn courses and platform, you bill your parents directly and pay us per student. You keep the difference and you keep the relationships.
What a territory actually gives you
You are not buying a franchise and there is no fee to enter one. It is a contractor arrangement with a login: you get the course, the diagnostic, the report generator, the instructor materials and the ChronosLearn name to work under, and marketing and lead assignment for your area.
What that removes is everything that stops a good teacher going out on their own — building a curriculum, writing assessments, producing something a parent will pay for every week, and doing it all before the first dollar arrives. That work is done.
Terms are agreed individually, and the conversation happens after you have run a full term with us and we have both seen how it went. There are conditions attached and we go through them then.
Pay and applying
This is contract work, not employment. You invoice us monthly for the hours you deliver, you are responsible for your own taxes, and there are no benefits, no vacation pay and no guaranteed hours. A written contractor agreement is signed before your first class.
Paid hourly, with preparation and reporting time built into the rate rather than expected free. The rate is discussed at application.
