Can I see a report before I decide anything?
Yes, and you should. There is a real one on the front page with the child's name removed. Judge it directly rather than taking our word about it. The diagnostic and the report cost nothing.
Is my child scored or graded?
No. No score, no percentage, no letter grade, no timer — on the child's screen or in what we store. Nothing we keep about a child is a number that can go down. The report names concepts and what was found; it never compares your child with anyone.
How long does the diagnostic take?
About ten minutes for one concept. It is short on purpose. A tired child stops showing you what they think.
Does my child need an account?
No. Children have no logins, no passwords and no profiles. A parent holds the account; the child gets a link.
What happens to my child's data?

How often are the classes?
Two 45-minute live classes a week. First is the lesson. Second takes up the work — questions, worked problems, what they got stuck on. Class is $249 a month, about $29 a class. Small group is $399 a month, capped at six. One to one is $599 a month and is not open for enrolment.
What times are the classes?
Mon & Wed, 4:30pm — Grades 5–8. Mon & Wed, 5:30pm — Grades 5–8. Tue & Thu, 6:30pm — Grades 9–12. Sat & Sun, 10:00am — all grades.
Why twelve?
Twelve, because the instructor starts the term already knowing what each child is stuck on. The time goes on those twelve specific things rather than on finding them. Small group is six, at $399 a month.
What if my child misses a class?
No make-up session and no refund. What was covered goes in that week's report.
What if a class doesn't fill?
A class runs with a minimum of four students. Below that it does not start. The enrolment rolls to the next term, or is refunded in full.
Do you help with tonight's homework?
No. Homework help patches this week's problem and leaves the thing underneath it in place. That is the failure mode we were built against.
Do you hire instructors?
Yes, on contract, for Grades 5 to 12. You must be 18 or over and already hold a vulnerable sector check. Experienced instructors can go on to run their own territory. Teaching for ChronosLearn.
Are you a tutoring centre?
We are a small business running two live online classes a week. No premises, no franchise, no commute.
What do I need to run the diagnostic?
A tablet or a computer with a modern browser. It works on a phone, but the strips are small and a bigger screen gives a truer result.
How do I start?
Get your child's report — free. Grades 5 to 9: we email a diagnostic link the same day; the report follows; nothing is charged until you have read it and said yes. The diagnostic and the report cost nothing. Grades 10 to 12: you go on the waitlist; nothing is charged until a term opens and you say yes.
What is the founding cohort?
The first thirty families, at $149 a month, about $17 a class, held for as long as your child stays enrolled. It closes at thirty families or after thirty days, whichever comes first. Class is $249 a month — about $29 a class. The founding rate is not a discount off $249 and it does not reopen.
