We're hiring for the Grade 9 term, and building a team for Grades 10 to 12. The course is written. There is no unpaid lesson planning and no parent admin. Teaching is a flat rate per class.

Grade 9 starts after Thanksgiving. Grades 10 to 12 open on rolling starts.

Grade 9 teacher

$40–$50 per 45-minute class. Two live classes a week, 45 minutes each, for twelve weeks. The course is written before you teach it. Parents contact ChronosLearn, not you.

Grades 10–12 math teacher

$40–$50 per 45-minute class, same as Grade 9. Two live classes a week. A class opens once enough families have joined and a teacher is available. Parents contact ChronosLearn, not you.

Community referral partner

$75 when a referred family completes its second paid month, and a further $75 if that family continues into a second term. Each amount is paid once. You disclose that you are paid and share only ChronosLearn-approved materials.

What happens after you apply

    We reply to every applicant within 7 days, including a short decline if it is not a fit.

    Shortlisted applicants: a 20-minute video call.

  3. 3

    For teaching roles, we check the OCT public register and see your vulnerable sector check.

  4. 4

    Signed agreement, then paid onboarding for teachers.

  5. 5

    Your first class, or your first referral, depending on the role.

Requirements and terms

Every class is taught by an Ontario Certified Teacher with a math qualification and a current vulnerable sector check.

  • Teachers must hold Ontario College of Teachers membership in good standing, and a math qualification. We check the public register.
  • Teachers must already hold a current vulnerable sector check. We verify it before you have any contact with a child. A fresh application can take several weeks, depending on your police service, which is why we ask for one you already have.
  • Teaching is contract work, not employment. Group classes only. No one-to-one contact with students. You won't be placed with any student you teach at school. Classes are on Google Meet. There is no classroom.
